Hey guys. I haven't been on for a while, good to be back. So, many times I would see regions that connect with each other very well and seem to flow. So I've made some regions using a tool, but I don't know how to make different landscapes in one region (i.e, mountains, plains, and lakes in the same region). Thanks.

Now, that is rather ambiguous.  Regions generally are discrete.  Cities connect to each other.  What was your question again?

What I mean is cities connecting to each other to make one aesthetically pleasing region. I'm aware of the programs that are able to make these kinds of regions, but I wish for more control over the design of the city instead of it being randomly generated (If possible).

Well, you could use SC4Mapper if you don't mind having to load up the Python run time.

You can also use Landscape Designer, but instead of letting it generate a map, build one yourself in an editor.  I think you can find the rules for this in the Omnibus.  Anyway, after you have created your map, you can check it using LD by reading it in.  LD will put it up in reverse false colour and check if the dimensions are OK.  If you are then happy with your map, you can save it in a Region folder then generate the config.bmp file to go with it.

Another choice is to generate a map, save it, then take it on in an editor such as Photoshop or GIMP, making whatever changes you want, then reading it back in to check it as above.  You can back and forth this as often as you like.

A caution: Most graphics editors want to save files in RGB.  These files must be black and white or the renderer can't see them.  You just have to insist with the editor.
