Transferring Cities from one computer to another

Hi Guys and Girls,

I have purchased a new Macbook and I was originally using a PC to play Sim City 4.

The Sim City for my Mac was purchased through the Appstore, and I am not sure where to put my old game files. 

Which file specifically do I need - I assumed it was the regions folder and plugins, but when I transfer them to the 

 

~/Library/Containers/com.aspyr.simcity4.appstore/Data/SimCity 4/Regions 

 

I am not sure what I am missing as when sim city starts it loads a new region not my regions.

Any help would be really appreciated, I have played this maps for such a long time!

If you did transfer the entire region folder to the new computer in the folder described above you can open your region by clicking on the left blue button on region view, and then in load new region.
