Hello, I am new and recently downloaded a ".dat" file but cannot open it. Is there a program to open this file? I have looked for solutions everywhere but am unsuccessful. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

.dat files are files in the SC4 format. You just need to place them into the pluginfolder to use them ingame.

 

If you want to edit mods, then you need to get the ilive reader to open and edit the mods.
