Does anyone make Australian inspired cities/rural areas?

I've made cities based on Brisbane and Darwin, both great cities to try to make.

 

The last city I built was inspired by Perth.

 

One of my all time favorite CJs was based on the City of Adelaide, my home town.

 

I also use parks everywhere, being inspired by Adelaide and it's parklands, so most of the time my cities are surrounded by parks.

Aussie here, hailing from Melbourne.

My current city has winding bays inspired by Sydney. Also you might want to look at Reddonquixote's BAT thread, who is currently trying to recreate Melbourne.

There was also a guy here who was recreating Geelong but I think he's gone inactive.

I'd love to do some Australian recreation - alas, I lack the skills to do it. Or at least the skills to do it well, haha!

I was actually browsing through your tumblr the other day - I was in mouth-dropped awe basically the whole time! Of all the SimCity pictures I've seen, yours have to be some of my favorites.

Wow that's brilliant! - is he really inactive? That means so much to me!

And yes he used to update quite regularly but he's gone off the radar recently... Let's just hope he's bogged down with real life things and will come back soon :3

Oh mid North Coast? You might want to search up on SC4 Devotion for "Adro's Mackay", probably the closest thing I have seen to a Queensland styled CJ. He passed away a bit ago unfortunately so hence its inactive, but it's a great legacy he has left behind.
