    FYI we had this v1.0 to 2.0 when the feature was disabled

    THERE IS A ENGINE aspect.. Because agents have cause and effect if you speed up time to much then things become out of sync and start not functioning correctly.

    Its the same problem when you speed up cars to fast on freeways.. if you do so they actually miss the exit believe it or not.

    @Danny50205:

    Where everyone wants faster speed, I actually would like 50% slower speed than Turtle to see a more realistic traffic speed.

    Will you be so kind to consider that too? :)

    Time impacts function .. although I think slower is more possible than ultra fast

    The mod just changed the number that controls speed. so if 0.5 is slow, 1 is normal and 2 is fast then you could change it to be 0.25 and it would go super slow, change it to 4 and it goes super fast. with my experience with the mod i was able to push the game to go to speeds between 10 and 20. Anything faster would cause the predicted problems of utilities not giving water or sims missing highway exits.

    I looked into SimCity's JavaScript and it appears that this isn't possible at all. Instead of having the speeds declared in the JS, they're declared in the core game. All references to speed in the game's JS are simply constants that point to resource ids, which can't be changed. Basically, all the scripts can do is point the core game to the id of whatever speed you want, not create your own. :(

    I could be completely wrong, but I see no way of doing this.
