And to think ,I just downloaded one of your building Glenni.15.gif

There is no need for harsh words. People have the right to choose what they please, at least our Macs don't get viruses, or have problems that the PC's are filled with. No complaining here please.44.gif

Let's not take the Mac v. PC holy war to the CJs too.  A CJ is a place for someone to show off what they have made in their cities, not try to compare the computers.  The two ideas don't mesh.  Whether or not a CJ is good is based on how the person builds the city, not what computer they use.

As for the idea of having a place where everybody who makes CJs on their Macs can link up, I say go for it!  Just please, let's not start a Mac v. PC: My City Journals version of the debate.  Thanks.

This is not a Mac vs PC debate. And I think we all resent the implication that we're nefariously plotting to turn the CJ forum into a Mac vs PC holy war.

We're just trying to encourage and support each other. And perhaps, along the way, show that Mac is every bit as good as a PC and stop all those useless Mac vs PC threads altogether. (Idealistic, but I can dream.)

End of discussion, now back on topic.

I'm considering starting a little CJ myself. But I have things to do before I can commence. But I believe a good name will be The Reconstruction of Carpathia.

Heck, if you don't have a CJ or want to start and take that responsiblitly, just put some images of your city here and not have to worry about frequent updates. I don't mind. 2.gif

Also, this thread will proove Macs are just as good or better then PC's hopefully ending that fued, but thats not the main goal of this. It's for MAC users of the game to be heard and unite and share stuff we have built together, and maybe EA will see this and learn to be more supportive to MAC.

First of all, I would like to say that do to a technical difficulty, my post came across as meaning something that I didn't want it to mean.  I was going to quote glenni's post also, but apparently, something was lost between my computer and the ST server.  Not even all of my post made it through - specifically, the actual first paragraph (which was right behind the quote of glenni's post) is also missing.  Because of that, the real meaning of my post was lost somewhere in cyberspace.15.gif

I wasn't implying that you guys are going to try to spread these debates to the CJ section.  It was just a general appeal to the entire community not to take sides on this too.

As for this Mac CJ venture: I still say Go for it!44.gif  If my sig wasn't as long as it is, I would add some of your CJs to my sig to help promote this cause.

I haven't touched it in almost a year, but you can check out Farallon here.

Nothing too spectacular, but it does show the huge difference Rush Hour makes, since it was started before RH came out. No story or anything, just a building (and constant rebuilding) journal.

Hopefully, I'll actually get back to playing the game some day...

    All Macintosh Users
I have come up with an idea. There are many groups on this website, so why not start a Mac group.
    The M.A.C.C.B. Macintosh City Builder
Anyone be willing to start this? I'll make banners or whatever for the group.

We could just say we are a proud group. PC users here that hate MAC would see us rise and stand together to be united. Who-knows, maybe even EA or other organizations will see the MAC people united and help out more. Each one of us joining could make MAC be a prominent force here, not a force...but everyone would know us, and realize that MAC is here. I've started working on a banner.

Well, I'll just say that I think that whatever the group decides to do, I (as a user of MS Windows) stand behind it!44.gif10.gif

Macs aren't trash like some people think that they are.  Although I'm not really a fan of the physical computers, I absolutely love the OS!  MS couldn't make an OS that looked like OS X if they threw all of their money at it.  They just don't have the creative genius.
