Mac Modding

Hi all does anyone know if the mods on here work with Mac?? Or are they only for PC versions of the game??? If they do work is the same way we get them on like the windows version just extract into the correct folder.

No, there aren't any modding tools t use on mac yet. We can hope there will be, but there is only one modding program for windows at the moment, so only time will tell.

Doesn't work for SimCity, you have to link to a Sims 3 DIR and if you enter anything else it wont accept it.

I don't think reviving an older thread is necessary. Moderators or administrators may close the thread due to it.

Oppie is currently looking for more people to get involved in his C++ needs to create better tools for the PC and for the MAC.

 

Like the approach we have taken with modding by breaking it up into groups of people and teams to simulate how maxis worked on items as well as distribute the development and tribal knowledge as much as possible, Oppie is planning on doing the same with his side of the development to bring out better and more improved tools.

 

If interested just let us know.  These things take time and as you already know most of the major changes have only happened in the last 3 months with only about 1.2 months under the community major modding teams activity.
