NAM 32 is not letting me install

I have recently installed simcity 4 on a new PC and installing all these bits and bobs, and yes it is deluxe. As I was going to start the installer, i clicked start, but a pop up message flashed and said i needed patch 1.1.638..... Now, I am sort of stuck at this point and really need help. Any assisstance will be appreciated.

2. I believe Simtropolis has a page where you can download SimCity 4 patches, but I'm not sure. If they do have one, it would be a subpage of the ST/Exchange

The EP1 update (available here or here) is a dependency for the NAM and most content to work as intended. Download the correct sku version, then extract the installer to your desktop and run. Once completed, this should take your SimCity 4.exe file to version 1.1.638.

 

If this has been applied successfully, the NAM can be installed. But before doing this, you may wish to install the BAT nightlights update, following the same process as the EP1 update. This should take your game to version 1.1.640.
