Need Help Finding a Mod!

Greetings everyone, I am hoping to get a little bit of help finding a mod. I hope this isn't a silly question as I am still fairly new to SC4 and to be more specific modding of SC4. I am running the latest NAM and a handful of other plugins, textures, etc so I have definitely gotten the hang of finding and installing mods.

The one specific mod I am looking for shows a data overlay of the traffic flow. I'm not sure that it's a data overlay or what exactly, but it puts arrows on all the streets to display the direction of traffic on that road. How can I get this? is this part of NAM or a separate mod? I have done some searching, but I don't know what it's called to search for. I have seen it on a few tutorials and SC4 vids, so I know it's out there :)

And, on a side note, if you have any suggestions for making the game look better or more realistic with either mods, textures or whatever, I would love to hear them.

Thanks!

Sounds like you just want the route query tool which isn't a mod at all, it's the question mark with the L shape around it (Alt+? hotkey). Just below the building query tool (? hotkey).

The mod the Catty is speaking of will show the paths that the Sims are allowed to take to get to their destinations. It does not show you real time traffic flow or congestion, it just shows that the paths are working correctly and no glitches.

It's still a good idea to install the Extra Cheat mod for this reason. On occasion, the paths can become corrupt and you really wouldn't know the reason without the mod.

Not to mention the many other benefits that are not cheats at all, but more like an add-on to see deeper into the simulation. Like looking under the hood..

And as far as specific mods go, there is such a wide selection of individual tastes, it's nearly impossible to be suggested which mods are best. You'll learn what I mean the longer you hang around. Best method though would be to just search most popular mods with the ST advanced search feature.

The more important mods are the ones that patch or fix various game bugs, more than an aesthetically enhance the game. IMO

Could be either of those.  And with the NAM, if you choose the second radio button in the congestion display you get a measured traffic flow diagram, colour coded for your convenience.  This also activates the second panel of radio buttons which allows looking at specific traffic items.

Take a walk on the wild side and try all the different displays and graphs.

Thanks so much for the help guys! What I was looking for was the pathfinding options on the extra cheats.dll file. Funny enough I already had that mod installed, I probably should of done a bit more research first :) Anyways, thanks again guys.
