Moving Plugins to New Laptop

I need to move plugins to my new laptop.

Some questions:

1) What do I do with DAMN custom menus? I might have to re - install DAMN. Can I simply copy and paste my old DAMN menus into the new laptop and run the DAMN indexer?

2) Some mods can be installed by "copy and paste'. Are there any known mods that do not work by simple copy and paste (ie. NAM) and where I have to: run the installer and have it registered in my laptop's registry before working properly?

Since they are all non-programming data files you can move everything.  Not sure about the DAMN as there appears to be code related to it.  Suggest you try it, and if necessary try your solution with the indexer.

One of the best ways to find out anything like this is to ask your new computer.

When transferring plugins, the main thing is to ensure your new setup matches your old one. This includes any plugins in the game's directory folder.

If using the CD version, remember to patch your game on your new laptop. With the EP1 update as a bare minimum + the (optional) nightlights update. Some content will not work otherwise.

You may want to reinstall the NAM, as it does make use of the registry.
