Hello guys,  I have reinstalled Sim City 4 after some years, I started playing and decided to begin my el-rail network, when I got this little surprise :

As you can see, it shows like there is a missing plugin, I guess. Although I have the lastest NAM running. I run the game on Win8, but I made sure to change the path in the shortcut in order to avoid CTD, and other bugs. So I think it's not related to Win 8.

My pc : Intel i3 , 6GB ram DDR3, GeForce 8500 GT, so I think it's not because hardware too. So I wonder what would it be, you guys have any hint ? I have no clue what is causing this, and I wish to fix it,  I wanna drag el-rail network in my city, but no way to do it while it's looking this odd.

If you could, drop a message, thanks in advance  "  :thumb:

Looks like you chose to install Moonlight's alternate El-Rail look (comes with the NAM), and either something didn't install correctly or it has dependencies.  I'm not sure since I don't use it, but I can tell you it's probably related to it.

Looks like the "rainbow tiles" that some RHW pieces produce, too, I got very upset about diagonal RHW-6 to FA MIS ramp showing a box with the same glitchy texture as yours there. I don't know the cause and don't know a fix however, maybe post this to the NAM development and support thread?

You might check the game's graphics are set to "Hardware" mode - although this doesn't seem to matter on my computer (Win 8, Intel i3)... You could also be sure your computer's graphics properties are set to 'Application Controlled' where possible.

This was an issue among software users of NAM 31.0 and 31.1, if I remember correctly. Are you certain you have 31.2?

I don't have this problem (running Windows 7, however); usually hardware vs. software mode is the culprit.

The red-green-blue pattern always means that a texture is missing.  In this case, it appears to be the concrete texture.  I'd suggest rerunning the NAM installer and just make sure that El Rail Alternate Implementation is checked.
