Welcome to the development thread of the Irish recreation project! We are a team that are focused on the modelling of the culture and architecture of Ireland, both of the Republic and Northern Ireland.

 

Ireland is a mixture of many various architectural styles and stylistic features. The mixture of our violent history has led to an interesting development of the eras of our existence. From stone age through the Georgian & Victorian to the modern day, Ireland has seen a wide variety of influences from the Celts, the Vikings, Normans and English. 

 

Because there is a lack of such architecture in SimCity 4 that is specific to Ireland, this project was founded.

This totally remembers me of my first post when trying to start a BAT thread.

 

If you have nothing to show then you don't need to start a thread yet

 

When we formed CBT or when NYBT or HKBT was formed, there were at least 2 members who could show something. But starting a thread and telling us wait we do anything in the distant future ...

It should be noted that Simcity4IE has a catalog of BATs on the STEX already, so this thread isn't just a spam "get everyone to do the work for me" team starter.  Though, I can swore you already had started a thread on Ireland bats awhile ago. . .

Yes, it's linked in his signature. And now we have a bunch of off-topic chatter right at the beginning of this thread, which proves once more why it always makes sense to gather something to show first and open a thread afterwards, not the other way around.
