So, I'm taking a small break from Sim City and have gotten into RCT2. 

I wish to document the building of my park in the style of a Sim City Journal. Would that be appropriate for the forum?

Over the years many CJs have been based on games other than SC4,

 

I'd put it in either the SC4 CJ forum, or in the CJ section, as those are the 2 most active areas. And I'm looking forward to it!

Same here, I used to play RCT prior to SC4. Still have the disks hidden away somewhere (RCT2 is my favourite of the three).

 

I guess an exception could be made in the new CJ section. After all, it's kind of related to SimCity. The only major difference is it involves building and managing a theme park, rather than a city! Both are very creative games.

 

Another place I can suggest would be in Gaming Talk.

It will more or less not be related to city-building, however it will document the construction of my park. 

I figured since I find them to be similar games, that there would be a crossover of interest. I'll post a few pics on the City Journals section of the site, and I think we can work from there.

Well, a theme park is sometimes a small city, isn't it? From my point of view, I think there would be no problem. Don't know the opinion of the rest of CJ mods but I think they will put no hurdles on you RCTCJ.

Interesting idea. As city-buildings, could we branch out to building other things rather than cities? I'm an avid RCT(3) player, but is is just a genius idea.

I love playing RCT 2! I would play it for hours on end (especially when I was grounded), I should start playing it. Was a great game!
