Hi people, i'm new here, and i want to show you a region with wich i've been playing for many years (sorry for my english, i'm argentinian).

 

Well, it's a "french inspired" Region, absolutely fictional of course, with many rural areas and small towns. French-speaking people here are going to laugh with some names, i've invented everything... anyway... Enjoy it!

Wow, really nice region that you have going there. Especially loving that small island chain outside Boecerie.

 

The only thing I'm not to sure on is the streets around every farm but that's personal taste and doesn't detract as a whole.

Yes, i thought about that, and i made many experiments. I wanted small-farms so i developed basically two models of farming: one was the "square" lots, and the other was the "bars" lots.

 

 

Here is the square lots model, with many secondary roads and scattered villages:

The other "farming model" is the bars farms. No need many roads and makes a better use of the soil, i mean, you save a lot of space.

The problem with the "bars model" is that, in the first place, it's not looks so well, at least for me. And in the second place, it generates a lot of traffic, and that decrease the "farm desirability", even if you already have the mod. So... i finally decided for the "square-farming model".

 

 

By the way, i haven't found a mod for farm jobs for middle classes, so, in the rural areas i had to increase to 10 the middle and wealthy taxes, and low to 4 or 5 the lower-classes taxes. At least, the farms are not empty

That is a very impressive region - it is very obvious that you have spent countless hours working on it.

Yes, i've tried, but it doesn't convinced me. I mean, i didn't know about the middle clases farm jobs, but when i saw the fields, the textures of the crops, etc... didn't like it. Specially how they looked in the region view.
