SC4 Train Skins

Hi guys,

 

Sometimes when reading a CJ I see realy nice railways. The railways itself isn't realy a problem, but how can I change the trains I see? I only see the maxis trains, but I already looked for mods for european trains but didnt found them, or I am doing something wrong.

 

Does anyone can help me?

What you're looking for is a train automata. Some automata automata will replace the default maxis trains (replacement automata), others will add new instances to the existing ones (additionnal automata). Usually you can find this information in the readme files enclosed, or in the item name.

You can only have one replacement automata per type of transport, but there's no limit to the number of additionnal automata you can have.

Of course there are many others, just search for "train automata" in the various exchange sites and you'll have a bunch of them.

By the way, if you look for train skins on this site, you have to go to the Mods & Tools section of the ST/Exchange.

Request for Asian, African and South American automata diesel loco skins !

Rail customization i love to have some more Asian, African and South American  loco skins to be created. Melbourne there are commuter skins available aswell with Chinese and Japanese skins. Missing are some real australian, south asia and south american diesel loco skins. F50 or american streamliner´s may be found but that doesn´t look right with freight trains and may be out of time with more modern diesel loco to be found iin these countries.

Hope anyone can take inspiration from these pictures creating loco skins so more tropical customized can be adjusted. Passenger diesel loco cars or vehicles are aswell wellcome to complete this part of the world !
