Graphics error after installing NAM 31

Okay so I downloaded NAM v31 and installed the mod. I double checked to uninstall the previous version of the mod before installing the newer one. But it then lead me to some issues. After opening up my city with NAM v31 installed, I noticed that my streets had gone missing, my elevated rail system was RBG color, and textures such as maxis default small flower garden have no texture to them at all. They just have this dirty color. So I then uninstalled the software and re-installed NAM v30 along with NAM Hotfix301_13April2012, and again I run into more devastating issues. It seems that the original SC4 props have been deleted during my experimentation of "installing" software.  When I zoom out x2 my neighborhoods (houses) disappear. At times some don't. When I zoom in only some homes appear. Now it is extremely inconvenient to have to re-do most of my city tile by tile considering that my region consists of 800,000 people in a suburbia type environment. If anybody has any information on how this could have happened or what I could do to save my cities, I would deeply appreciate your time in helping me. Thanks in advance.

Here are a couple of pics.

Have you checked if you've set city details to "high"? This will solve the disappearing prop issue.

About the missing road textures: do you have a picture of what road textures are missing? And have you checked which components you exactly did install?

Yes my city details are normal and as for the road textures I mean my streets literally vanish leaving no trace behind I would show you a picture but I uninstalled v31 and only happens with v31. As I tried to go find it for download again I couldn't find it anywhere?. I re-installed with all the same components but I still run into this issue. These pictures are the aftermath of re-installing v30 after I uninstalled v31. I really don't want to start over  :(

Can you check your graphics options in the game again? Your reply is a little bit vague to me...

Also, I really need a screenie of where exactly the streets disappear, so I could check what plugin you miss from the NAM

The pictures I had posted before were with NAM v30 installed. But the ones I posted here are with NAM v31 installed. With either version I'm having glitches and difficulties. Although I want to be able to keep all of the previous mods from version 30 on the new version 31 if that's at all possible. I don't understand how this suddenly happened? Because I have never touched my settings so it's odd and my graphic settings are set to default.

Here'a a picture with version 31 installed only, notice my diagonal streets are gone and the park is missing it's trees. Also my homes backyards have been robbed of foliage.

My diagonal rail bridge over the highway is gone. And those where my base line trees that stuck around this particular area.

Re-install the NAM 31 and make sure that you check the "diagonal streets" installer option. You can do this with custom installation of the NAM. Also, make sure you have the rail overpasses selected.

Regarding the missing props, have you checked your "City Detail" settings? If it's set at low or medium, select high. If nothing changes, you have a severe case of prop pox.

Is this going to happen to all of my cities within my region, or can I at least start over? I can only assume that it is prop pox because nothing else is working. But that doesn't necessarily mean that I can't play the game anymore right?

Well, there's one way to get temporarily get rid of the Prop Pox:

    - Set "City Details" to "low"

    - Save your city and return to region.

    - Set "City Details" to "high". This reactivates your props.

I think that explains why I'm still having minor glitches. Because suddenly everything is working properly except my buses.

    For Example:

    Notice Above..

But other than that I'm back to building my city again. So again this is a temporary fix? My main concern is that prop pox will ultimately infect all of my previous saved cities and all of my cities to come, or is this bug particularly selective?

Hmmm, it seems that you've switched over to Software rendering, which doesn't like large textures. Try to switch to Hardware Rendering. See if that fixes things.

The prop pox only happens when you've got a large number of props and a particular prop triggering it. That last one is really hard to find actually, often downright impossible.

Hello everyone. I'll use this thread to post some NAM glitches that I foud.

    1. No textures on one-way roads.

During the instalation I chose "eliminate most one-way arrows" and "eliminate one-way arrows at roundabouts". If I unistall these two it will work just fine, but I'll get arrows which is not what I want.

I also use the "retextured standard road style (american)" for my roads if that has any influence.

    2. No texture on el.rail crossings with heavy rail.

I use the "darker textures by SFBT" for rail texture and the original Maxis texture for elevated rail. I also have the "el. rail over road networks" mod instaled.

I tried reinstaling NAM without the SFBT's rail texture and got the same result.

I'm using NAM 31.1 with the Steam verison of SimCity 4.

My NAM instalation is pretty minimalistic so there's no RHW, SAM, NWM or any of that stuff.

I already had this problem with NAM 31.0, but was hoping that the patch will fix it, so I didn't report it.
