Cape Town Is 90 Days Away From Running Out of Water

http://time.com/5103259/cape-town-water-crisis/

1. The human brain is aware of its ability of awareness of its own death.
2. Human behavior is primarily suicidal and masochistic.
3. Human industry proceeds consistently toward development of destructive material culture.
4. Human social, civil engineering and technological structures are non-viable.
5. The Human environment is no further supportive.

The human brain can only opt to attempt transition of existence and development by proceeding to act toward destruction.

The probability of global nuclear holocaust either by accident, natural catastrophe, or deliberately, is 100%

Earth's magnetic poles could be about to flip - with serious consequences for humanity

https://www.zmescience.com/science/earth-magnetic-pole-reversal-0432432/

http://www.ibtimes.co.uk/earths-magnetic-poles-could-be-about-flip-serious-consequences-humanity-1657368

40,000 years ago the human brain experienced a surge of electrical depolarization  and temporary excess solar radiation due to a temporary flip in the magnetic poles and a deficiency in Earth's magnetic shield.  This is about the same time human symbol and tool making becomes evident across most human migration, just preceding the 'cultural' explosion.

Finally, IISc team confirms breakthrough in superconductivity at room temperature

SUPERCONDUCTIVITY

And yes, soon we'll finally have (as I predict based on this breakthrough) more efficient renewable energy sources, more efficient electric grid, better magnets, nuclear fusion reactors, actual antigravity engines and techniques, better spacecrafts and etc :D

welp, here's a fun one. Unless you actually have this condition. The story makes clear that it cripples lives and lifestyles.

No, you don't actually want this disorder.

"The condition made news in 2014, when an Umpqua man who was driving a truck that spilled 11,000 salmon onto an Oregon highway claimed to have auto-brewery syndrome. He was found guilty of DUII. The next year, a New York woman was charged with driving under the influence after she registered a blood alcohol level that was more than four times the legal limit, CNN reported. A judge dismissed the charges after being shown evidence that she had auto-brewery syndrome."

NASA is working with researchers of various fields on some really awesome futuristic ideas for future space missions. In only a few words, those ideas are...

...regolith adaptive modification systems for supporting deployment during early landings...

banerjee_graphic_2021_ph_i.png?itok=J43J

...parent spacecrafts that transmit power and remotely manipulate small probe spacecrafts through laser transmitters...

close_graphic_2021_ph_i.png?itok=cYQD0Ov

...mining systems that encompass extraction and collection of water in parallel with as many other local materials as possible by using electric arcs...

greig_graphic_2021_ph_i_0.png?itok=lPh-G

...lightweight deploy-able structures with expansion ratios of 150x or more, that can be launched inside a single Falcon Heavy rocket fairing, and then be deployed autonomously to a final size of a kilometer or more on orbit...

manchester_graphic_2021_ph_i_0.png?itok=

...expanding tethers that emit sound to study the subsurface composition and structure of terrestrial planets...

mcgarey_graphic_2021_ph_i.png?itok=XIwp1

...autonomous drilling systems on Perseverance-type rovers as a drill rig, which drilling strategy rely on self-contained robots driving up and down the borehole autonomously...

morley_2021_ph_i_autonomous_robotic_demo

...a radioisotope-electric-propulsion spacecraft designed to catch up to an extrasolar object (like ‘Oumuamua), collect a sample, and return to Earth within a 10-year time frame...

morrison_graphic_2021_ph_i.png?itok=n60X

...solar sails with radiation-hard batteries that reduces the power system mass and transit time of future space missions to the distant planets...

nemanick_graphic_2021_ph_i.png?itok=Npw8

...sample return missions to Titan that uses in-situ volatile propellants available on its surface...

oleson_graphic_2021_ph_i.png?itok=GCvoUv

...long-reach crawling and anchoring robots with extendable booms to explore and sample difficult terrains on planetary bodies, such as the caves of Mars...

pavone_graphic_2021_ph_i.png?itok=ZpTJxK

...building a very large low frequency radio observatory on the lunar far side by using lunar regolith materials...

polidan_graphic_2021_ph_i.png?itok=2mtGh

...magnetic robots that transport cargo by levitating over flexible tracks...

schaler_float_graphic_2021_ph_i.png?itok

...swimming micro-robots for exploring ocean worlds...

schaler_swim_graphic_2021_ph_i.png?itok=

...making soil in Space for growing food by using carbon-rich asteroids and fungi...

shevtsov_graphic_2021_ph_i.png?itok=cjXW

...a light bending system for generating and distributing power on the Moon by using telescope optics...

taylor_graphic_2021_ph_i_lg.png?itok=k3V

...and a planetary surveyor supported by regular visits from a cycler satellite network to retrieve petabits of data for transit to Earth.

vander_hook_graphic_2021_ph_i.png?itok=f

All those technologies sounds awesome, but if they succeed, I believe that not only they'll change the way we'll explore and colonize Space, but they'll also have incredible applications on Earth, such as vehicles levitating above magnetic roads, microscopic explorers of Earth's oceans, environmental friendly mining systems, and even entire cities that can be deployed and constructed faster and easier than ever :D

An energy company named Emrod is working on Nicola Tesla's greatest vision. Wireless transmission of energy! By using a system that involves shaped microwave beams that pass through relays, Emrod wishes to bring energy even to the most remote places, and even pave the road to battery-free electric vehicles. Click here for more.

Now this sounds like it would be neat in SimCity, but guess what. @Kartenhaus made a mod for this 2 years ago! :D
