LRM 4 installed; only seeing coloured squares

Hi there,

 

I just installed Light Replacement Mod 4, a custom installation, on my Windows computer. The installation went fine and as far as I can see, all files necessary are in my Plugins folder, but when I start the game, I can only see red, blue and green squares all over my city - on the places where light poles are supposed to be.

 

I don't really know what the problem is, as I have tried to reinstall the LRM and also had LRM 5 before, which worked perfectly and of which I believed everything is deleted. I've attached an image of the coloured squares.

 

What can I do to fix this?

I'd recommend you to install one set of the latest version, version 5. Version 4 is kind of bugged and overly complex...

I agree it's complex, but are you with version 5 also able to use other light styles mixed, like in this version?

No. You can only select one override style. However, you can still use the prop sets and the plopable lights just fine. This is done by design choice to vastly reduce complexity (it was after the NAM the most complex mod around in version 4) and therefore the user-friendly-ness (less chance of installing the mod wrong) and the ability to bug-fix each set has been vastly improved...
