Buildings Sometimes Won't Plop on Blue Snap Points

Has anyone else had this problem? I tried to place a park over some already built residential buildings when I had the allotted amount of space and the snap point was blue, and all it did, instead of placing the park, was demolish all of the residential buildings that would have been demolished if the park had been placed. I, again, tried to place the park after the buildings were gone, I even tried de-zoning and placing the park, but it would not plop no matter what. I later had the same problem with adding another tank to my water pumping station and I desperately needed to place that tank where it wouldn't let me.

I've never experienced this bug before, but it's really infuriating! I had to stop playing for now so I wouldn't break something. >_>

It happend to me several times, as far as I can tell the problems is that when you zone for R,C or I, game somethings creates a tool shed, a front porch, or some similar useless thing that once you delete that zone and bulldoze the building that object that has no use blocks you from placing buildings on that spot.

On some places it did go away and let me place buildings on other it did not. It's almost always the size of half a low density house.

No, there was absolutely nothing there. The building would demolish -everything- there, but not plop. Would make the sound effect and animation and everything, but nothing would be there.

I had the same problem when trying to plop an addition to my solar farm. There was enough room, I demolished everything in the space, but it would not plop, even though it made the sound.

    Happens to me quite often.

Happened with Refineries, processor plant, fire station etc. It clears the region as if it wsa plopped, but it does not happen. Annoying

I've seen this when the ground is sloped.  I think it tries to flatten the ground for the building, but can't get it flat enough.

It was happening to me again the other day on flat terrain, oddly. It's even happened with adding modules to buildings rather than placing entire buildings.

Happened to me once I wanted to expand my airport. Couldn't build that additional terminal since.

I've heard (or made up in my own head) that building a road through or near the offending wheelbarrows/sheds/empty space will reset the land. Although sometimes I'm not even able to build a road through the phantom building(s) at all either.

I have noticed on a number of occassions when placing a grade school there would only be three blue ploppable points for school busses and not the normal four ... WTF ? !!!
