I've always been partial to the Skyline of Rotterdam (Busiest port in the world), one of the few 'american' skylines in Europe. (Only made possible thanks to the destruction of downtime Rotterdam in WW2 ofcourse), It has that real European mix of old and new.

I and probably nobody else can see your photos. I suggest that you use photobucket.com or photoshop.

London's skyline, without a doubt, is the most varied. Tall modern building / Classical dome cathedral.

One of the oldest modern cities, suffered the worse that Nazi Germany had to offer during the Blitz and the London foreign exchange market is the largest in the world, with an average daily turnover of $504 billion, more than the New York and Tokyo exchanges combined. Truely magnificant to behold the sight of this thriving urban capital after the thousands of years of history, war and pestilence it has had to face. A cultural capital, with our 300 languages being spoken within the city. Urban areas pop: 7.5mil, conurbation pop: 12-14mil, generating , at times, 30% of the UK's GDP. If it were it's own country, it would be the 13th largest economy in the world - larger than Australia's economy. Home to hundreds of companies, both domestic and multinational. Also home to the LINX (London INternet eXchange), the largest internet exchange point in the world, carrying over 86Gb/sec - 96% of the UK's total Internet traffic. Bloody brilliant. 16.gif

It may not be the best, but my favorite skyline is Cleveland, Ohio (United States).

Veiw from Lake Erie

I like how they light the Terminal Tower up like a Christmas Tree During the Holidays.

That massive dome is called the Biosphere. It houses exhibits related to the environment on Ile Sainte-Helene in the Saint-Laurence River in Montreal.

Originally this building was the geodesic dome designed by Richard Buckminster Fuller as the American Pavillion at Expo67, the international exhibition held in Montreal in 1967. Abandoned for a few years afterwards, the outer shell made of some sort of acrylic material was totally destroyed by fire. It re-opened as the Biosphere in 1995.
