What happened to the delete your own post ability?

    The last time I wanted to delete something was a long time ago, but it just came up, and the delete button for own posts seems to have disappeared. How come?

    You haven't been able to actually delete your own posts since ST6. This coincides with a software switch, so it could simply be that IPBoard doesn't support the feature. Although, ST7 allowed you to "hide" posts (staff could still see them but everyone else could not), so maybe not.

    More likely, it was simply decided that it wasn't a privilege that ordinary users should have. Especially since accidental double posts are mostly a thing of the past now.
