I have downloaded some new buildings recently, and I write them down to see what works and what doesn't. I can't seem to find some of them in my list. Any ideas? What files are needed for it to work? Thanks

And what buildings are you missing?? Mention their name is not a bad idea.

Depends. Are they growable or ploppable? Also, like Cefien said, mentioning their names is not a bad idea at all.

This one for example - Chow Tai Fook -

It says it's ploppable. I was told by someone not to DL anything under 4 stars...and this one is 4 stars.

    This is the Thai Farmer...

It says it is growable...lot size 7x12...so I have to create a lot that is 7x12?

    Wisoma Heights -

Doesn't say whether it is ploppable or growable....

Well, you can expect this one to appear cause it says plopable. Landmarks menu is its place. Try look in that menu, it should be there.

Since it is growable, then you'll never see this building in your list. You don't have to create lot, zoning is the only way for it to grow.

This building is growable stage 7.

What is a growable stage 7 mean?

I think I am at Stage 7...I'll have to check. Also...

    Cefien says:

"Since it is growable, then you'll never see this building in your list. You don't have to create lot, zoning is the only way for it to grow."

So I will have to zone a 7x12 size area?

    Yes you should.

Remember, you gotta make sure that the number comes first is the one that facing the road, in this case 7. Just pay attention to the arrows.

Holding ctrl button while zoning is the key.

And also zone the building use the high density, because stage 7-8 (if you don't have CAM) buildings will need high density zone to grow (Btw, only for R and C, the way I work is different), and stage 4-6 buildings need medium density to grow (Btw, high density is perfectly okay), and stage 1-3 buildings can grow when you zone low, medium, or high density. Also make sure if the area is sufficiently watered. Otherwise, the building won't grow because all med-high density and $$$ buildings need water to grow.

How long can it take for a building to even start to grow? Like the one for a 7x12 area... Just curious...

For ever, and ever, and ever. It depends on the randomizer. Since it is probably the only lot of that size, you just have to wait it out. The problem is that the game will re-parcel such plots given the chance. I have one that is supposed to be 8 x 3, and I never get it because of this. If that lot is a farm, it has to be zoned low-density Industrial. Industrial, by the way, doesn't go above stage 3.

Well, i couldn't i agree more with that....building in this kinda size will find it hard to grow, but not impossible. I have several growable buildings with huge size in my cities now. Most of it bixel's.
