only one simcity title made it in the list and it's not SC4 :( but at least 86% believe at least one simcity title should be included

The all-time video game is Super Mario. It has been on consoles and PC's almost since the beginning. I think you can still find copies of Space Invaders, too. And don't overlook Donkey Kong. It may not sell now, but many people still play it.

1. Simcity 4

2. Simcity 2000

3. Doom

4. Doom 2

5. Descent

6. Twin Cobra

Now days, I only play Simcity 4, and maybe some games on the WII

  • NFS MW and NFS Shift. Honorable mentions: Stunts (a classic DOS game), Super Hang-ON (arcade)

Shooter:

  • Red Dead Redemption(PS3). Honorable mentions: Max Payne 2, GTA VC, Freelancer

    chrono trigger is the bomb, the only game that i know that had 14 different endings and started the craze of what did i ever do w/o this thing/person. especially the time hovercar. once you got the wings for the thing you wonder what you ever did w/o it :)

    SimCity 2000 is a million times more worthy of being on such a list than SC4. Seriously. One is a classic that is remembered purely on its own merit, the other is a bulky glitchy game from 2003 that would be long forgotten by now if people hadn't figured out how to modd it.

    Duke, you are completely right. While I still play both games occasionally, I find SC2K both more fun and more challenging. It may not be as pretty to look at as the newer games, but there is no mistaking its greatness.

    If I were to make my favorite games of all time list, I'd go with, in no particular order, NCAA Football 2007, Gran Turismo 5, SC for SNES, SC2K, ChronoTrigger, Final Fantasy VII, Super Mario World, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, and Civilization IV, and then SC3K and SC4 can share a spot in my top ten.
