But this is the kind of things that usually hits the far east and influence areas, and is good because is a proof of they have their styles of pop. I have no hope to see something like this hitting in the charts or in the pop culture at this side of the world (far west).

What I meant to say was that Gangnam Style has been exposed to virtually all continents around the globe; I was assuming the guy to whom I quoted knew the song was heard in the Americas, Europe, Africa, and Australia.
