Elevated Subway above road/street

Hi all, I need an information: I'm lookink for elevated subway above road stations, like this one I really can't belive that this is the only station existing!!

I believe it has to do with the NAM puzzle pieces. Have you installed it? (I think it's got an option in the Mass Transit menu where you can plop puzzle pieces for el above road, etc...however it tends to be crashy)

Yes I know, I have it, and I use it very often. And there are no station in the puzzle pieces. My question was, if there are some station. I think it's useless without stations...

The NAM mandate doesn't include lots. Stations, perforce, must come from custom content builders. Have you tried the other exchanges, particularly the LEX at SC4Devotion?

There aren't many if I'm not mistaken, especially in that style. There was another called Madison & Wells station but I think it had errors if I am not mistaken about that either.

I like to use the El over road pretty extensively too. There are a couple el over road stations out there though, sorry I don't have links at the moment. Here is one more right here on the STEX -

Also, you probably are already aware of this, but you can break up the road direction under the el rail for a couple tiles or so and just use standard el rail stations.

One more idea, there is El Over Road station, don't know if more than one but atleast one included in the RTMT (road top mass transit) Addon Mod. Obviously you'd have to install the base mod and then the addon.

I too was fortunate to find those awhile back. There is even a curve station piece which is pretty cool.

Ardecila, the creator of the CTA Ashland station, also created the Madison-Wells station, which you can find on the STEX. Both stations suffer from the problem that in hardware mode using certain video cards (typically Radeon), the main building doesn't show up in one or two of the zooms. This can be fixed by editing the model file in the Reader and duplicating one of the higher zooms in place of the lower zoom; the game takes care of scaling.

Hi z, could you point me which file(s) needs to be duplicated for the CTA Asland station? I can't identify zoom levels on this model... Isn't zoom level supposedly determined by instance ID last digit? Any help would be appreciated

For models, the zoom level is the hundreds digit in the IID. It goes from 0 to 4, corresponding to zooms 1 through 5 in the game. See in the game which zoom or zooms don't work, and use the next highest zoom that works. In the Reader, order the subfiles by ascending IID. Delete the nonworking zoom(s). Then make copies of all the rotations of both the FSH and S3D subfiles of the working zoom (all the subfiles of these types that start with the same first six digits), and then change the hundreds digit on all of them to be that of the deleted zoom(s). Save the file, and you should be in business.

Anyway back to my earlier comment and your response...I thought it humorous that someone would make a building out of the brown box. Appears it was serious with stats and all.

I don't believe these are drive-side dependent. I've used them in both right-side and left-side versions with no difference.
