Odd. I haven't downloaded anything recently and I have no missing dependencies or anything like that. (I have a lot of dependencies). In fact I ALWAYS test my game after putting in anything new. I haven't made any recent changes to this city either. This message came up when I loaded this city. Any known causes?

I had one of those; it was due to a missing dependancy on a certian BAT i had downloaded, , I fixed it by deleting the BAT.

If you havent downloaded anything then its possible that the city itself may be damaged -possibly a bit of scrap code got mixed in while you were building it- but thats only supposition, open another city and see if you get the same message; if not the problem may be in just that one city, so it may be a case of dump it and start afresh.

i'm no computer geek so I cant be certian, maybe annoy moose may be able to help

SOLVED.

I found the building that caused the problem. I don't know how it happened but it was deleted from my plugins folder. I don't know why. Really strange.

I had that happen once recently, and the missing pack was the control tower on the Air Force Base. Some hiccup in the file system. I simply reloaded the mod from my backup and the problem went away. File systems, disks, etc. are not 100% reliable so backups are required. Mine fires automatically every Thursday when I log in. Since it just updates changed files, it is pretty quick, and runs in the background.

I didn't delete it. Something strange happened. The plugin itself disappeared.

Good thing I do have backups for my cities. However, I have only had strange problems like this with SimCity 4. The loading script for this program is full of bugs.

You dont happen to have any siblings do you. Mine know i play sc4 alot and will mess with me by randomly deleting plugins every now and then. Thats when i decided to make sure i didnt build cities on the computers shared account.

Right on. I don't have any other users. It is so very important to back up every aspect of your account, but especially the game which changes so much. I get by on a weekly, and a contingency manual backup system. What happened above was the deleting of a single model. Never did find out how.
