I'm hugely disappointed. It's exactly like CityVille, why do we need a rehash of that garbage?

Its seems to me more people like it than dislike it. I, myself, hate FB games in General, but this one is actually quite fun. Yeah not getting any "diamonds" past level 10 and having to get "friends" to help you with only one request per day kinda stinks, But overall I like it. It is still a beta also, dont forget that. message me if you want a neighbor.

Well someone is super angry at me over at my blog. I think I need to write at length about CivWorld now, how a popular franchise can be casualised and socialised while still being a fun and creative game that isn't a resin of FarmTown.

I can't expand without Land Permits. I got a ton of Simoleons and no where to put them. I have to pester a bunch of grown adults on my Facebook page who don't give a rip about SimCity in order to get land permits. Fail.

And then, in the final version, they wil say "Buy diamonds for $3 dollars" and "To continue refilling energy, pay $5.00". :(

Actually I got diamonds at level 20. I also get diamonds at many of the major achievements.I currently have about 28 diamonds and Ive spent a lot of them too. Honestly its a very generous Facebook game. I guess it helps I play with 6 other people consistently though. Its not called Social for nothing. At the moment I have a city of 7009 and my acrology is getting close to being done.

So far Id have to say the game did miss some opportunities but it claimed some too. City layout makes a difference. Coverage of police and fire do make a difference. In fact position makes a difference. All in all I give the game a 4 out of 5.
