While the game is looking good so far, what is the deal with about 2:30 seconds of total footage? It's the same thing with there weekly videos and articles. It's like we get 50 seconds of footage and 2 double spaced paragraphs and that it for the week. I hate to complain about something someone else is doing and working hard on (and doing a good job might I add-even if I disagree with the direction there going in interms of map-size), but could we get a wee bit more coverage of the game and the design philosophy these guys are trying to accomplish here? Or is that to much to ask?

It's part of the marketing. Other than that, they're probably being careful not to give people false hopes.

I bet that's something they learned from Spore.

It could also be what we've seen is the progress they have made so far. With the rapid rate of progress I would expect to see a lot more coming out soon.

accually... there have been other releases... I just watched a live chat with the Dev's where they went into the game... such as the main consern many have had... you will be able to play by yourself... ie your own region.

Your freedom is the most expensive thing you have, even if you arn't the one that paid for it... Use it well.

The graphics, although a bit 'bright', are still detailed and convincing in my eyes.

The gameplay looked fun. They're obviously giving us a new progam here and at this point I don't think it's worth it to compare it to SimCity 4. It's a whole new thing.

Keep calm and take photographs.
