New Computer, Old Regions Issues

So I recently got a new computer as an upgrade. I moved all my files over and installed Sim City 4 Deluxe. My new computer won't recognize the old saved regions and loads the default Timbuktu and such. I checked if they may have been deleted, but the "My Games" folder from my old computer is still there. I deleted the folder "Regions" under Program Files and replaced it with my old regions and it didn't change anything. If anyone has experienced moving over Sim City 4 saves to a new computer, please help.

I moved from Windows XP Professional to Windows 7 Ultimate (that would explain why the Regions folders are in different places). I didn't have a problem accessing saved games on Age of Empires III or Civilization IV.

Regions are read from "C:\Users\{{Your Computer Username}}\Documents\SimCity 4\Regions". SimCity 4 never uses the "My Games" Folder because that came after the game was released.

The regions folder in your Program Files folder is a backup of the default regions that come with the game, and is not read by the game.
