Hello passengers in transit at Long Island International Airport, in the post number 200 ( coincidence ?

:P ) , let's visualize the complete shot of the airport facilities, where you can connect with 55 cities around the world , go shopping inside the terminals and to connect on free wireless internet while you wait your flight or after your arrival. Maybe after passing by here you do not want to leave it..

    ----

airport facts : the airport was inspired in the Kansai Intl, Osaka , Japan. So you are right if you think the island is artificial.

the airport consumed ø 15.000.000,00 (15 million of olives), about 30 million of simoleans, and took 2 years to be built.

the terminal D is linked to terminal E via underground pass.

the first flight was of a boeing 747-300 (boeing livery) testing the runaway 36 L.

43 million of passengers set foot here per year in about 375.000 flights.

the island had been planned to have a "llama head" shape, it was forbidden due the animal protection laws.
