Thanks SimGoober.  That one range, is that for both the MAPP and my BATs or just for my BATs?

Thanks again... 44.gif

Date: 10/25/2005 9:10:13 AM Author: SimGoober Aldara, I have assigned you CF78000 to CFFFFFFF.  Should give you plenty of room.

SimGoober - did you mean CF780000?  I hope so, because what you wrote is minus one 0. 2.gif

Now, the next question I'm not sure if you can answer...but, I am using the SC4Tool to make my textures since it is so easy.  I created 0xCF780000 with no problem.  I tried to create 0xCF780001 and it said invalid ID.  But, it would let me do 0xCF781000, 0xCF782000 and so on.  Any clue what I'm doing wrong?  I'm going to post in the SC4Tool thread for an answer as well.  Thanks again... 19.gif

Disregard...question answered.  Now I'm having another problem, but that is for the SC4Tool thread. 2.gif

Hello, I'd like to request the 0xB1 range, 0xB1000000 - 0xB1FFFFFF. I'd already made textures with IIDs in the low end of this range before finding this thread, I hope it doesn;t conflict with anyone else's stuff

Thankyou

Hi.

I have done some trams (el-trains) and like to know if I need to have assigned a TGI range:

This what they have now:
tramtgi6kd.jpg

I like to assign some new numbers. Trying to get more than one tram into the game at the same time as NOB has done.

Vester,

This registry of ID numbers is for base/overlay textures that are being created for lots. Automata use a different Group ID, and therefore don't mess up lots when one of their Instance ID's is the same as a base/overlay texture. Automata use Group ID 1ABE787D and base/overlay textures for the Lot Editor use Group ID 0986135E.

Hi there,

it`d be nice if someone reserves around 300 texture-IDs for me. The range itself is completely meaningless to me - so feel free to fill up space or so - if there is any. 1.gif

Thanks in advance! 48.gif

Sorry for the delay.  The range you reqested isn't correct; both numbers are missing digits.  Hex numbers always have 8 digits each.

Hux, I have assigned you the range D2000000 to D277FFFF.

I'm sorry, NicolaiS, but the numbers you requested are already allocated to the Simmars team. I have allocated 0xD3000000 to 0xD377FFFF to you.

Thank you Barby ... its not a problem to have another set. I requested the number as presented by SC4Tool. I haven't made any textures yet because I first wanted to wait for the allocation.

Thanks again for keeping track of these things.

i would like to reserve a texture IID for myself. These textures will be used for transit lots and lot textures as well.

Hmm, I'm pretty sure I did not request a range here, only in the Family Props Index, so could I request a range please?

Or, if I already have a range, could someone remind me of that range? Thank you.

I have allocated 0xD4D00000 to 0xD4DFFFFF to you, brtim. If you are using SC4Tool send me a PM and I will tell you how to use the range in that.

I'm not quite sure how to do this here.. I've made several textures ranging from 0xFF009020 to 0xFF009080.

Should I reserve these? Should I change them?

Is this thread only for BSC texture allocation or is it for anyone in general? If so, I'd like to request a range of indices; if possible I'd like something starting at 64590000 to account for ones I've already made.

Yup that should work just fine, thanks. And is it possible to load this ID range into SC4Tool to bypass the one it automatically created for me?
