Very touching story. Famous Norwegian children's tv host met his sister after 30 years apart. His father was Norwegian, his mother Afro-American, and when he was just one his dad brought him back to Norway. He's been trying to find his family for a long time, but he gave up until he got his daughter. Then he decided to try again, and he found them. Evidently the family comes from a very poor neighbourhood in Georgia, and his mother's had severe depression, but she's much better after she found out about him and that he's very happy.

This fits nicely here.

This woman was born deaf. She managed to learn reading people's lips, and apparently rolled with the handicap until some months ago. She then had an implant... well, implanted in her ear. It consists of some device which basically works as a replacement inner ear. This video was taken when the device was turned on:

And as always with YouTube, don't read the comments. They are just plain depressing and cancel out any good effect the video might have.
