Sim City 4 Taxi Company Thread

Hello there, I was thinking the other while playing SC4 about bus stops and taxis. Well I this idea of making a Taxi company to be in Sim City 4, It will require making taxi automata, taxi stops (simaliar to bus stops). In order for me to do this I will need the help of some very experinced MODDERS and Automata Makers. I am really wanting to do this, if any one is interested in joining to help me make this marvoulous project, please say so, any & all help is needed and appreciated. The Taxi Company will work just like a Busses, they will have functioning stops, taxis that go to the stops like busses to to bus sops, an d a taxi will spawn at each stop when placed. As stated in the title, the name of the taxi MOD will be called Sim City 4 Taxi Company, and all the taxi automata, buildings and stops made for this will have a special logo on them that I will make later. If you feel like you are up to the challenge and want to help out, here are the positions needed for this listed below

Nice taxi. I really look forward to having this downtown. My city also is notorious for non-yellow taxis. Here is one nice taxi suggestion. Maybe a green-black-white layer taxi. One like http://www.flickr.com/photos/7943129@N06/5244033277/, but only the coat, imagine it on a real taxi. I love this taxi idea, we need some real taxis.

Thanks, I will consider that, but for now i'm focusing on one taxi, to get things started.

I think it's a very good idea. In fact it is such a good idea, that someone else already thought of it. Though, that lot is from 2003, so a newer version probably wouldn't hurt. If you're interested, I know my way around the reader and have a good knowledge about modding transit related items

I can't help because I don't know how. However I think the Taxi stops need to be more like a post with a sign on with a queue behind it, like in real life or maybe make it have a little bay I don't know how you would do it but people have.

I will make more stops in the future, but for now, i'm focusing on one, and right now, I am trying to find out how to make it only spawn taxi's, not busses.

The taxi isn't from google warehouse, kojak313 made it in sketch-up for me as a prop for the building.

You guys can think whatever, but I will know that he created it himself, because he has created alot of things, look Here and you will see some of his projects cleary his own, made in Google Scetch-up, he has over 80 at my website up for download, any way the taxi up there has custom logos he made, and I looked it up myself, every taxi on there is different than this one.

Frex,I looked at that thread, and yes, some stuff is his indeed, but those fire engines, police cars etc aren't his, he has a good game he downloads an SU model and modifies it a bit, deleting some components, changing one texture and overlaying a 3d text on it, now I know that the models are hosted on your own site, so good, but look into the google sketchup warehouse terms and conditions to make sure it's legal, and I think that branding them his own totally is hypocritical,

that's my only problem, but otherwise I love the Idea, and the modding is good, and I'd like to see it see the day
