I was just wondering why there is a very small amount of retro buildings?!? I believe that we need 50's retro buildings!

BUILD BUILD BUILD!

If it weren't for the baby boomers of the time Sims would not be alive!

I thought there were plenty of retro buildings in SC4. There is an entire mid-20th century tileset (the NY tileset), and there are plenty more buildings on here that fit the architectural style of the 1940s-1970s.

I can't find all of the curves and color that I think of when I think 50's

I want smalltown 50's glamour diners, 50's cars, neon, etc.

There is a good number of older buildings in the STEX and LEX. Here's something I came up with a couple of months ago...

I guess that the OP is looking for a more googie-styled buildings. Art Deco is cool and is from the 50s, but I also miss stuff like Seattle's Space Needle, etc.

@Wraner: If you have specific requests, feel free to make them in the BAT Request Thread, the suitable place to do this here.

Just google Streamline Moderne and you'll find loads of 'retro' pictures.

there a few Streamline things on STEX, check out the recent Greyhound Bus Station etc.

NO, I can't BAT, I am UNABLE to install the software! This is why I'm asking.

I told you not to try to pull that kind of move.
