Uninstalling Mods

Simply go into your Sim City 4/Plugins folder and remove the .dat file. This should work.

Thank-you but it's not working. I've been able to remove every kind of thing but this one. I was so desperate to remove it that I removed everything from my pluginfile, removed the documents and even uninstalled and reinstalled the game. And it is still there. I'm not really computer savvy, but I would appreciate any help. Thanks.

I haven't used that mod, but once some mods are installed in a city, they can't be removed from that city file.

I already did delete a region and city with the mod and restarted the game.

Still on there!!! Heck!!! I wanna to see my plugin at the bottom, and its heck many. I am stupid!! I shouldnt get it but instead i get the extra cheat by maxis.

It would probably help if you back track a little and fully explain the problem. In terms of what is not happening that you are expecting to happen. Right now it's a little unclear from your post, which makes it hard to give any meaningful help.

That's because installation happens under your programs folder, while plugins (mods) are usually under your documents folder. The reinstallation does not touch anything under your documents folder, so plugins and regions remain.
