Battlefield 3

Ok guys, EA has announced Battlefield 3 and it will release this Fall 2011. The game will run on Frostbite 2 and it will be released for PC, PS3 and XBox 360. Unlike Bad Company 2, PC will be the lead version for Battlefield 3. Here's a 12 minute trailer of Battlefield 3.

This game will be epic. Can't wait for this!!!

It's a difficult year for the gamer on a budget. I am looking at purchasing several games including Battlefield 3, TES:V, Rugby World Cup, the next instalment of FIFA and still waiting for more on Forza 4.

I know, I watched the trailer clips of this, and many instances made me think of a movie. DICE has outdone themselves wayyyyy over the top this time. And I'm so glad that the singleplayer story campaign is more robust this time then say Battlefield 2, or the earlier ones which just centered around online multiplayer. I always enjoy me a good story to play with.

And to boot!? A catastrophic earthquake in the middle of everything!

I've played it some but am afriad to play much more. I'm not sure if what I did will carry over onto the actual game when I buy it.

Although there are some interesting bugs.

Ok, my Opinion has arrived.

As long as you can tolerate the bugs such as not being able to see while getting shot at cause the screen goes white, and falling though the map from time to time get bf3, otherwise wait for MW3 cause its clear who wins this year and its not BF3.

This game should still be in Alpha...

Apparently the campaign is bad. At least, bad for a FPS by a major company like this. Even aside from all the bugs. I'm probably going to refrain from getting it, just for the fact that I can have multiplayer on any other game this year. Since that seems to be all anyone likes now a days. . Or just wait for MW3 because Shooter season 2011 is in full swing now between, B3, Rage, Gears3, MW3... Lots o 3's.

I'm actually quite satisfied with Battlefield 3. The campaign is nice and the multiplayer aspect is really well done. Some moments get really intense in Rush and CQ. I also got a free pre-purchase copy of MW3 with BF3.

Same, it was a big let down, i was expecting gameplay more like BC2, the engine felt more dated then the older one.

EA gets into problems with customer protection after protests of gamers, because auf BF3, for 2 reasons:

- the need for a permanent web connection is not explicitly enough stated

- the fact that origin has to be installed but the lack of explanation what the use of it is, plus the fact that the EULA is to foggy as to which data the program collects and what happens with it

too bad they dont care an continue to do what pleases them.

btw, I am as proud as can be that I never played a battlefield - except the demo for bad comany - especially since BF3 is BS-ing the gamers and fans of the series.

Personally, I love this game. Though I always have been a BF fan. I liked CoD 4 too, but then I didn't enjoy them as much...

Anyway, I love Battelied 3, it's never left my disk tray, I just like the extra depth the teamwork and destruction brings in, and I just unlocked surface to air missles

Enjoyed the game. Loved the graphics, the intense scenes, and the Big Game Hunting level was AMAZING! Good use of money I believe.

Not even gonna bother with Multiplayer. Never do, it's never my reason for games unless its Counter Strike or Day of Defeat off Steam. I don't even have a gold membership to play anyway, so eh. lol
