I don't wear hats. I never wear anything just as a fashion statement, and for protection from the cold, hats leave the back of your neck uncovered and are thus a flawed method. I stick to jackets and shirts with hoods for that.

I wear hats all the time mostly New Era 59/50s i have almost every teams plus the hundreds collection and some of the rare capture the flags hats, plus a Ryan Sheckler red bull and x games monster hats. Its hard to get the offical one capture the flag hats cause they are limted and cost $350 each.

The congresslady that took Kendrek Meek's seat when he unsucessfuly ran for Seantor is a hat fanatic, she is trying to overturn a old rule that speakers can't wear hats on the house floor.

In fact i've never seen her without a hat even in her campaign ads. I wonder if it will be iverturned it has been around since the 1800s.

I've mainly worn baseball caps for most of my life, and I'd like to change that.

Naturally I wouldn't wear my trilby if I had to be out in the sun for an extended period of time where another hat, say, an akubra, with a wide brim all around, would be more suitable.

EDIT: Is this the right way to post it? By the way, the only hats I ever wear are baseball caps or vizors when the sun is too bright. I never wear them sideways or backwards because they have no use that way.

What you call grades we call years. Maybe because our school year matches up with the calendar year, I don't really know. There may be no reason behind it at all.

Nah, it's the same in the UK, and their school year doesn't match the calendar year. It's just one of those language difference things.

Also, the numbers aren't equivalent. Here in the US, the whole numbered grade series is preceded by kindergarten, so 1st grade is actually our second year. Dunno how that matches up agewise.

I do know that we start school at a young age compared to some other countries, though (kindergarten = 5 years old)... and consequentially also finish school young compared to some other countries. In Italy, for instance, you are not done with school (including college) before age 23-24. American students, assuming no delays, finish their undergraduate degrees at 21 or 22 (depending on when your birthday is) and most enter the workforce right after that.

In the Netherlands we have a lower school of 8 years, you start when your four years old

Then you have a middle school, which are different types from 4-6 years

After that, there is what you in the US call college, also different types, can be 4 to even 8 years i think

So, if you do the shortest way you're ready when your 20, with the longest you're ready at the age of 26!!

In the US, you have to go to school from Age 5-18. We get 180 days of school a year. However, I read something that they want to extend it.

Here we have Junior Kindergarden (age 4 or 3) and Senior Kindergarden (age 5 or 4) so grade 1 is actually our 3rd year (unless you skipped junior, like me). About 200 days in a school year in Secondary and 190 in Elementary.
