But DMX doesn't deserve prison, a criminal is someone how causes harm to others or someone who does a serious crime. Drinking and drugs are not a serious crime, he isn't harming anyone, they need to focus on the people who are commiting murder and doing other more dangerous crimes, instead of chasing after people who chose to do what they want to do. Its amazing the sheriff can get away with abusing people like that, but yet someone takes something or does something to themselfs that the goverment doesn't like and they are quick to be sent to jail. Shows just how free this countrry really is.

Well, as Socrates once (sorta) said, "And unjust law is still a law." Drugs are illegal for a reason (marijuana partly because hemp is a cheap alternative to tree-based paper, which logging industries wouldn't have liked..as I was told once). Whether or not you agree with it, you still have to follow the law. If he was doing drugs/drinking while driving, that has all the potential to become harmful to others. 

And if the sheriff is being abusive, he should probably be punished too.
