What Happened to SC4Devotion/BSC exchange?

I think the point has been made that SC4D is still operational... here's what there is so far:

SC4D had renewed its domain just after many ISPs refreshed their DNS, and therefore lists the site as open.

Fast refresh ISPs have access now.

Slow refresh ISPs still do not, and probably will not until tomorrow.

Hali's workaround works for those who have slow ISPs.

I think we all agree it's operational it's just that we can't get to it yet. It's just very frustrating, that's all.

I can verify that my fix works... SC4D just went out on me too! Perhaps its the other way around, those who had it up are the one's with slower ISPs? I know I wouldn't be surprised with my ISP... they're local to my town LOL

Can we verify if it was renewed? As far as I know, registering folks only typically give a 30 day grace period before they let someone else take over the domain. whois look ups still show it as expired. =/

For reference, accessing just the IP WILL get you the apache web server page - it's hosted on a ahred box/cloud so going to the IP directly won't work cause it doesn't know what site it's hosting you want to access.

...there's the IP, and jeronij is the username of jeroni... yknow, the one who runs/owns the site. =) but it won't work well though

If you did edit your hosts file and still don't get the site:

- have you done the command prompt steps?

- have you tried closing your browser(firefox/internet explorer)? then opening it again?

SC4D has been renewed (the whois I did shows the expiration date as 15th October 2011) so it is a DNS issue. It'll be fixed when your ISP pulls their finger out and updates the index (mine hasn't).

You know what's awesome? I didn't start my MD as I originally planned over at Devotion this weekend out of shear laziness. Very nice... ;-)

Still need my fix though. Missing the Picture Competition for sure. I'm sure my sp will catch on eventually though.
