You may only give us one new building a year or so, but they're all so good that I'll find literally any excuse to use one in a city. Quality over quantity, etc....

I was sorting all my images of the past 15 years of SC4 and found those. I doubt any of these creations have neither been shown publicly nor released. They are from my lovely guinea fowl Vnaoned .

There should be a rule that if you post a render, you have to upload the model file here (maybe only available to admins) so that in case you abandon it, it can be finished by someone else.

A lot of it is in modeling the fine detail (stonework, roof junk, etc.), or when you can't find a texture that you like for a given surface, realize you'll have to make one from scratch, and get discouraged, or once a model is mostly textured such that a preview render takes hours but there's one bit you're still trying to figure out, or you lose a file from messing up somewhere (or your hard drive failing) and have to revert to a backup, etc. A lot of things that can cause some amount of discouragement. A lot of it is also not having time due to jobs, school, etc.

also putting it out there: I'm happy to work on anyone's unfinished models if they feel like sharing and don't think they're likely to finish them themselves. I'm still learning this stuff and sometimes find it hard to start new buildings from scratch, so working with existing models does help somewhat, especially if they're based on a real building. Drop a PM if interested I guess.
