 Hey i am new, does downloadable buildings in STEX that are growable limit or remove default buildings?? Or is it a random game generator and it just adds more buildings that are possible to create. And will it grow the same building like 20 times?

No; yes, sort of; and it may depending on what fits at the time something is needed to grow and what all else you have available that would fit..

The downloads should tell you in the details what they replace is anything.

If you downloaded buildings that are supposed to be growable, then yes, the will grow aong side the default buildings. The Maxis buildings can still grow. However, the game usually favours buildings with more sims per square, so over time you might find your downloade buildings are replacing the default ones if they have higher densities, such as the so called "pencil towers". Altso, some downloaded buildings will grow on ALL tile sets (Chicago, New York, Houston, Euro) with theoretically gives them 4 times the probabability of growing compared to most default buildings.
