Recently while I've been playing I've been seeing all these semi-transparent blinking lights/white dots all over the land.

Anyone know whats up with that?

Could you show us a picture? It may be graphics card problems or the game is set to the wrong rendering.

BTW, questions like this go in Bugs and Technical Support.

Looks almost like its suppose to resemble rain hitting the ground or something. Sorry I posted in wrong area, but I am little new to the game so I couldn't actually be sure if this is a bug or not.

I should also note I recently installed numerous mods, however, I can't recall if the game was doing this before I did that or not. Perhaps I should uninstall those and see if it still does it. Its not really a big deal, doesn't seem to affect gameplay at all. Just a little weird.

??? I don't understand how that can be considering I have no radioactive elements to my city. Doesn't make sense. Must be a mod.

Radiation. Look for the following buildings in places nearby:

    Area 51

    Toxic Waste Dump

Also make sure a nuclear power plant hasn't recently exploded.

Sometimes the case is it isn't a mod after all. Some preinstalled buildings can do it. I would recommend building your city away from the radiation. If a nuclear power plant exploded then you can either wait 1000 game years for it to clear up or more recommended, just restart the town.

Well, the only radioactive building in my city is area 51.

Is it nearby that area? Now I don't see the radiation spreading that far considering it only stays witin 6-7 tiles worth of the building. Did any of your power plants explode recently?

The radiation seems to be affecting the whole city. I am seeing those white dots blinking everywhere there is open ground. So I don't really understand it. The only power plants that I bulldozed/exploded recently were solar and hydrogen due to the fact that I was doing some terrain manipulation/zoning and I had to reposition them.

If its a mod I've narroed it down to a couple... however, they were .kbi files that I installed with rpatch and I didn't backup prior to this. Guess I'll have to either start a new city or reinstall. not sure... Anyone know how to uninstall these?

OK so none of them exploded without warning, or warning that wasn't heeded in any form or manner, that is good. So I guess it has to be those mods after all. Try removing all your mods except one, and the remove that one and then put another one in until you find the faulty one. Place the ones that aren't being used in a seperate folder.

If there isn't an uninstall button just take the folder of the mod you want to get rid of and get it out of the plugins folder. That's how I uninstall unwanted mods.

That is pretty much it. Actually that is your only choice, unless you move them somewhere else. Move everything out of your plugins folder. And if it still persisits, start a new city. If it does it then, you may just have to reinstall the game.
