Right now only RHW-2 and RHW-4 bridges are supported, although work is being done on other bridges (there's been screenshots, don't want to dig them up. They're somewhere in the RHW Dev thread on SC4D I bet if you're curious).

I don't believe that we will ever have draggable bridges for these new networks because of the extra tile with. If the game allowed you to have a bridge right next to another one then it would be easy!

There may be a way around it via puzzle pieces. You could plop the bridge. This would be ideal actually because you could have curves or even intersections! (you can do that already with the NAM puzzle pieces! Just make sure you have a flat river/seabed and you can do whatever you want!)

It is a similar story for Tunnels, sadly the tunnels are hardcoaded in the .exe file which makes it illegal to change it!

For now though, we just have to be inventive.

These bridges need finalizing for release still though. And they are 100% draggable.

Gosh Blue, those are amazing, can't wait for them!

Those are both nice, but still only 2 tiles wide. If you use a highway that uses 2 tiles in the same direction (6-8-10 lanes), you would need two bridges side by side as shown in pics. And yes, hurry with the release. Need more diversity of bridges with RHW.

Fundamental impossibility.

Could you please explain what that means?

There isn't enough known about DLLs to know if they'd be able to change that. Thus far, the only DLLs released, aside from ExtraCheats (which came direct from the source), have basically performed load-time file moving operations. While extremely handy, that's a completely different ballgame than enabling proper RHW tunnels. There's scarce documentation on the object types or functions that the DLLs are able to call.

The only way we would be able to do it is if we overrode the class that handles either tunnels or the pathfinding. That requires us to have the Maxis-Written code that we would be overriding so we can include it in the new classes to ensure that the new classes perform all of the same functions that the old ones did, as well as us having to write the new functionality.

Also, we don't even know if Maxis allowed the DLL loading functionality to perform override operations. For all I know, the Extra Cheats DLL could just run a method already in the game which adds the cheat to the database on each load.

We don't know nearly enough for this to happen and even if we did, it would take a lot of time and dedication (and probably some help from EA) to be able to implement the functionality that Maxis' class has.

This is starting to sound perilously close to reverse engineering the code. We promised not to do that.
