Hello everyone and welcome to Page 6. We have come a long way but yet have so far to go. With the tropical storm Bonnie and hurricane Charley approaching SC, I figured I would have pleant of time to finish up my Lyon Region. With like 3 cities left it shouldn't be too much longer.

I picked up a new copy of Sim Real Estate. Mostly ads but this is for the city of White Passage. See for yourself:

Well, that's all the ads and banner that were in the book, well the important ones anyway. Here are some pics from the city itself.
/idealbb/files/CityA full view of this wonderful city. With SOOO much to offer.
    /idealbb/files/CityAnd a transportation view.

    /idealbb/files/White
Uptown. located about 15 miles east of the Ctr. Disease Control.
    /idealbb/files/White
And a nightly view of uptown.

White Passage's night life. EAST side.
    /idealbb/files/White
Baseball anyone? I thought I would take a closer look............and actually found this:
    /idealbb/files/White
Where did that lettering come from? LOL, OF COURSE you can't see that ad from top of the stadium stands....6.gif

Stay tuned for the last 3 cities.

Where do you think Gooseville Region should go from here? Looking for ideas. Should I keep this CJ open or should I start a new one. The Sim Real Estate will stay open but I'm wondering what I should do next with the city journal. Comments welcome.
    THANX,
    Chara

Thank you everyone, Dudy, Masher and Mike.

Mike, the uptown that I have, those are NOT plopped. That part of the city grew to be like that. I don't think you can plop Wren buildings, and also I'm not THAT good at plopping stuff to make it look real...LOL...
    Thanx for all your comments.

Great last entry!! I really liked to see the last 2 pics, that region is really finished.
If I were you I would start a new region, but it's your call. I've never got to such a population on my regions.
I'm really interested in what you will do, keep us informed!!!35.gif

Hello everybody. I just wanted to let you know I haven't let this CJ die. I have found a new region which I have named Twin Peaks Region. This region is going to be a little more laid back and hopefully there will be more creativity in it.
But please keep checking back for the new update.
    THANX

Hello everyone. I don't have much of an update but here are a few pics from Yazooboro in the Twin Peaks Region. I'll have to show pics of the region in multi-pics for I didn't know the region didn't have a config.bmp....soooooo......but this is to start off with. i promise to have more as soon as I can and maybe we can get this CJ up and running again.
    /idealbb/files/Yazooboro-memorial
This is the Memorial Gardens where all the vetrans of the city/region are.
    /idealbb/files/Yazooboro-SW
This is the SW corner of my city. Where the Memorial Gardens is located.
    /idealbb/files/Yazooboro-main
This is heading to the main part of the city. This section actually turned out really good.
    /idealbb/files/ingerbretson
Awesome looking building up for rent.
    /idealbb/files/Yazooboro-downtown
Well, that's all I have right now. But I hope this region comes together like Lyon Region did. I know you can really give feedback on so few pics but I promise to have more HOPEFULLY by this weekend...thanx y'all.

Hello. And welcome to another exciting update from the Twin Peaks Region. Today we have 2 cities for you, Chloride Gulch and Minnehaha Mountains.
Chloride Gulch is located north of Minnehaha Mts.
    /idealbb/files/Chloride
Chloride Side was the first district settled in this city.
    /idealbb/files/Chloride
Downtown highlighted in yellow, is about 10 miles NW of Gulch Side District.
    /idealbb/files/Chloride
This is the Western half of the city, included in the pic is downtown and Gulch District.
    /idealbb/files/Chloride
What kind of beach is this???
    /idealbb/files/Chloride
This is the Northern end of the city. North Side is the second largest commercial area in the city.
    Now, onto Minnehaha Mountains:
    /idealbb/files/Minnehaha
With about 27,000 Sims this city is still growing.
    /idealbb/files/Minnehaha
The Mayor District was the first section of this region and city ever settled.
    /idealbb/files/Minnehaha
Mayor Minne's house. Keeping it's name for 77 years now, every mayor feels honored to be able to live in this mansion.
    /idealbb/files/Minnehaha
This is the Northeast corner of the city. With Minnehaha Int'l Airport and the customs department, very rarely ANYTHING slips by here.
    /idealbb/files/Minnehaha
Located on the other side of the airport is the Northern District. This section also has the largest commercial area in the city.
    /idealbb/files/Minnehaha
And what's a Northern District without a Southern District? The Southern District is where all the wealthy Sims live in this city. With jobs ranging from CEO's to Owners themselves, this is every Sims dream of where to live. Voted #1 in the Sim Estate Magazine as the Best Place to Live!
    /idealbb/files/Minnehaha
This is Downtown. Not the biggest area of commercial but this area has the largest commercial buildings. With over 100,000 jobs here alone.
So here is the update for now....I hope to have more for you soon. Thanx for viewing and remember comments always welcome!

MsChara, I missed that last update due to a problem with my internet connection recently - thanks for bringing it to my attention now! It looks great, I love the curved coast of Chloride Gulch, it looks so real - as if it wasn't hand terraformed at all. I love this region but I am equally keen on seeing another Chara creation.

    TWIN PEAKS REGION
Hello again. Everyone and welcome to the first update of Twin Peaks Region. I have many pics for you today and hopefully we can get to the all in one update! I don't have pics of the region yet cause I just haven't taken curretn ones yet. The 2 I do have only show the island. So if you want to let's take a quick look at those and then move on from there.

    /idealbb/files/Twin
This is the island. To the left of the main island is also completed, BUT like I said I haven't taken an updated pic yet.
    /idealbb/files/untitled110.JPG
    This is the region view.
Here are the cities from the island. Starting with Trinton Rock. This is the first city developed and settled in the Region of Twin Peaks.
    /idealbb/files/Trinton
A full view during the day. With a population of about 100,something thousand.
    /idealbb/files/Trinton
    Welcome to TRINTON ROCK.
Let's take a look at some of the districts.
    /idealbb/files/Trinton
Launch District. Named after the landfill launch district, located about 5 miles due east of the district.
    /idealbb/files/Trinton
Up to the North West of Launch District is Mountain District. This is one of the main residential sections of this city.
    /idealbb/files/Trinton
Upper Commercial District is located south of Mountain District. This is where most of the important commercial of the city is located.
    /idealbb/files/Trinton
Pawnee District is in the South East corner of the city. Also known for it's wealthy neighborhoods and it's excellant school/education system.
    /idealbb/files/Trinton
This is the trinton District community. About 8 miles west of Pawnee District, this is not the wealthiest residential section BUT the most expensive b/c of the beach front property.
    /idealbb/files/Trinton
And finally, we can't forget the 10 miles of beach. Known for it's beautiful white sands this beach is one of the most popular along the island.
That's a look at Trinton Rock.

Sorry about that. i wanted to make sure it was actually gonna post instead of saying my session was timed out like it always does. I'll get a whole update complete and then it'll say we're sorry but your session has timed out. And it makes me so mad cause then i lose all the work I just did. Anyhow.

    ON TO TATONKA RIDGE
    /idealbb/files/Tatonka
There's really not much to this city. Just a little city with some farmalnd.  Nothing like a nice warm country city.
    /idealbb/files/Tatonka
Here's the populated section of this city.
    /idealbb/files/Tatonka
And here's the farmland with the airport. Like I said there's nothing much to see here in this little town.
    This next city is Blanchpolis.
    /idealbb/files/Blanchepolis-full
Just to the west of Tatonka Ridge, this city lies right along the water.
    /idealbb/files/Blanchepolis-full
    And a full night view.
    /idealbb/files/Blanchepolis-downtown1.JPG
This is the downtown area along the water.
    /idealbb/files/Blanchepolis-beach
This is a lovely part of the beach here. With 7-11 very close by.
    /idealbb/files/Blanchepolis-east       /idealbb/files/Blanchepolis-middle
Pic 1 is the eastern corner of the city. Pic 2 is the North Central of the city.
    /idealbb/files/Blanchepolis-highway1.JPG
And the north western corner of the city with the highway running thru. This highway continues all the way around the island spanning about 150 miles all the way around.
    /idealbb/files/Keys
Keys Cove is located west of Blanchpolis. This is the only city that links the islands with the main land. Unless of course you take the car ferry across the waters.  This is a full view.
    /idealbb/files/Keys
This is just a better closer up view of the city.
These are the cities on the island. There are about 2-3 more cities that are on the island to show yet. But I haven't had a chance to get those pics for you. This update is for DudyConstructor, who seemed to miss me and my updates alot since I haven't been here lately. Sorry about the delay but I have been busy and started back to work 2 days a week. Yes, I know it doesn't sound like much but this is an awesome place to work for (((which I'm sorry has to remain nameless))) and he understands my back problems and everything. So, I couldn't have asked for anything better.
Thanx again y'all and of couse comments welcomed. Any creative suggestions pls let me know cause I'm running out of ideas....3.gif

Breathtaking as always - it would take me years (I mean real years, not sim years) to make cities even half as big or as nice. 1.gif
