Wade Phillips? Aww, I thought It'd be Childress. Owners aren't too happy with him, either. As for the Panthers, a bad situation is made worse by Moore heading to the bench.  The Packers looked great on Sunday, even though they played the worst team in the league (Yep. I said it.). Rodgers got back in sync with the receivers. Also, a great performance my Sam Shields of GB. An undrafted rookie, he is the best nickelback we've had in a while. Too bad to see Al Harris go, but Williams is playing at a pro bowl level. Can't replace that.

I'm looking forward to the Pack beating up the toothless Vikings again.  Hopefully, this time Matthews can plant the drama queen himself into the turf multiple times and send him into retirement broken and battered.44.gif

Baltimore is good, but have you guys noticed how good Atlanta is at home with Matt Ryan? He has like 1 career loss there

Have you noticed how good Baltimore's defense is?2.gif  As for Ryans record at home, the odds are against him for continuing that streak and Baltimore is that team to hand him that second loss.2.gif

Matty Ice..would have been a legend for that BC Va Tech thursday night #2 versus #7 game...too bad that 8-0 BC team suddenly reverted to a more typical BC style and lost the next two games and then the ACC championship. Otherwise that night would have lived on forever...in the hearts of the 20 BC football fans in America hahah!

Still, I always pull for him when I can, so i'll be a falcons fan tonight.

Yeah.  Not real impressive when beating a depleted team and scoring only 1 touchdown.  When they beat a team like the Jets 16-0, then talk.2.gif

^the dolphins are one of the most overrated teams in the NFL IMO. perfect example of a team that goes out and gets one big name and everybody thinks thats going to make the other 21 starters pro bowlers all of the sudden.

I very strongly disagree with that assessment.  The most overated team in the NFL this year is Chicago.  They really haven't beaten anyone except Green Bay and have yet to play Philly and Jets, which I seriously doubt Chicago can win.

Well, after the Packers whoop another team in the disaray for the second game in a row, another coach has been fired.  Brad Childress just got the axe about an hour or so ago after suffering his worst defeat as head coach of the Vikings yesterday.  Now, if the Vikings are anything like the Cowboys, this may light a spark under their feet and they can play spoiler the rest of season and finish with a semi-respectable season.

I can't beleive Favre was actually thinking of quitting after his massive defeat to the Packers.

Quote from Favre: "I need... I need to go home and...um... reevaluate this. I need to... um... go home and think this through."

Geez. Also, The Chargers did put the hurt on the Broncos.
