Granted, but where are you now, AZ? Can you get to Italy easily? No? Well, we'll say granted of course, but the Bernoulli principle stops working so no plane rides, and, uh, every ship in the world suddenly *suddenly* sinks (all within swimming distance of the shore so no sailors die, I'm not a monster!) and uh... Mt. Vesuvius, again, right next door to your quaint villa. And your car gets four flat tires. And your lawn turns brown and dies. And your cell phone's phone numbers are erased by accident. And your credit card is stolen by WoW users and rang up to the limit. And your dinner is burned, and there's no breakfast, and since your car has four flat tires, you have to walk to the store/McDonald's or whatever for breakfast.

I wish for a new Walkman with a bit more storage space than my current one.

Granted, but as soon as your game is saved safely, you get up to have some lunch, only to find that you are out of bread and must go to the store to get some to finish your sandwiches. However, on the way to the store you see a McDonald's and decide that you'd rather have a cheeseburger than a sandwich. When you pull into the driveway, an alien spaceship beams you aboard and you spend the next 15 years fighting with the Rebels against an evil galactic empire, only to be captured by the empire to find out that the rebels are actually baby-killing, puppy-kicking bad guys and the empire needs to stamp them out to continue to spread peace and prosperity across the galaxy. Feeling duped, you are returned to earth where you learn that SC4 will not run on Windows Heaven despite claims the OS is backwards compatible, and there has been no new SC game besides a terrible social-networking version that is reviled by fans of the original series. This makes you even sadder and you wish you would have just eaten a sandwich like you intended all those years ago...
