Today I am showcasing the UC's newest national park, called Chaist Valley. It was set aside for the following reasons:
An ancient lava flow
Ruins of a town destroyed in the revolution
A pristine lake

Region update. Nothing much has changed since I haven't been playing SC4 lately due to finals.

So here it is...my MEGA update!!

First of all, Four new random pictures.

1)A luxury area of the town of Quincy

Now, the next part of this update. A new RHW highway is being built in the UC. It will connect North River with the town of Brockton on Boston Island. Here is the progress of it:

Black is WB lanes, White is EB lanes, yellow is future ramps, and gray is new avenue. You STians are to give me names for the freeway and I will post a poll on the 21st and see what the highway's name will be.

and lastly the best part of all....

Okay well yestarday afternoon a masive storm rolled over the UC. Here's some pictures of it:

Lighting strikes a Taco Bell in Scottsdale:

2)About 25 people had to be evacuted from Madison Heights because of some flooding. Thankfully, only 1 person was killed

3) Part of Highway 51 was closed due to flooding

4)In Monitum a massive flood took out a famous bridge. Thankfully, no one was hurt

Well, here is an update to the highway. After exiting North River, it curves SW then goes west where exit 2 goes to Dartmouth

Looks good. One thing I would suggest is that you smooth out the on- and off-ramps. They're a bit too squiggly.

Today is Story mode 2. It is about fires in Brockton, south of Boston.

One evening on a cool, calm night, 35 residents were awakened when their block set on fire

Firefighters were overwhelmed by the situation:There was only 1 avaialbe truck in town. It had to stop all the blazes

Eventally, all through the night the fires were fought. By 530 AM, none of the buildings were on fire

11 buildings were destroyed. About 25 people were homeless

The three Timbucktuian gansters who started it the next morning hijacked a van a eventally realizing they were being chased by the police, commited suicide

Well since nobody gave me any names for the new RHW, I named it "Westside Thruway". Here is the routeshild of it:

WB/NB Lanes are in black, EB/SB lanes are white, blue is a new mall, red is new ramps to be built.

A suprise awaits all. A new community is being developed north of Southville. This is what it will look like:

Green is residentail Blue is commurcial and red is a school and library.

Your goal all STians is too claim some property.The only rule is that you can't claim more than one house.

1 is going to be a mansion

2,3,9,10 will be regular houses with big backyards

The rest are normal houses.

Today is a special day in this CJ!The Westpark Tollway/Loop 20 tollway has gone through a ton of renovations ever since I started this CJ. Buckle up here it is!!
The origonal Exits O and 1 for Hwy 46 and the Airport Pky

The new exits:


The origonal exit 2, which is The first exit for Hwy 35, AND Exit 3A-B, which signals the start of Loop 20

The new area, which has undergone a lot of development

Origonal exit 4(Now 4AB) and 5
Exit 3=Hwy 35 Exit 4=Hwy 95

Ever since the Hwy 322 viaduct was constructured, this area has changed:

The origional exit 7-8, which is the only sunken section and the only express/collecter system in the UC:

Lots of development has occured here. Here is the new one:

This was Exit 9 and 10, but since HWY 322 is nolonger a at-grade highway, the whole area has changed:

Today the UCDOT team announced that the Westside Thruway would not be a toll road. Btw it was finished today!

Today will be a tour of Braintree. A brief history of it: The town was founded right before the Repulbic Of Mars was. During the revolution, rebel troops won a great victory here. The memorial to the troops is a fountain in the middle of Jenny Astion park(See below). First up, the Imperial Plaza Casino, which attracts tourists every day

Next is the airport, which serves Boston, Capital District, Pheonix, and Holliste

This is the park where in the revolution 2 rebel generals were killed. Despite that, the rebels won a great victory to march on to Boston

And finally, the Destiny Building, where another UC general sacrificed himself to save 29 captive soliders while pro-dictator troops burned the building. It was restored after the UC was formed.

Well that's it for today. Next time, I will present a history of the revolution and the events that led to it.

Tiday i am going to present a short history of the UC Revolution. Here is the map(And region update) of all the actions:

White is an indecisivise battle, blue is rebel victory and red is Pro-Montu Hashan(The mean dictator). Dashed lines are troop movements

History of the war

May 29,2747: Republic of Mars created. Montu Hashan creates small army to overthrow the governemnt

September 7,2747: Government overthrowen, Hashan Declares himself dictator

September 28,2747:1700 Anti-Hashan rebels get killed while attacking a ship at Plymouth

Janurary 8,2752: MRA(Mars Revolution Army) formed, with NTM as the leader

Janurany 19,2752:Revolution begins. MRA Defeats Hashan's armies in Plymouth Bay. They later hide-out  in the Pheonix Mountains for 1 month.

March 18,2752: Rebel army of 21,000 crosses Salem Bay and sets up HQ on 3 beaches SW of Salem

March 21,2752: First attack on Governemnt storage house in Salem. Governemnt camps also get burned there

March 25,2752: Governemnt ship Earthquake attacked and sunk in Salem harbor

April 5-6,2752: Battle of Braintree:3 UC generals get killed but rebels get major victory

April 7,2752:Final plans announced by NTM to defeat and overthrow Hashan. 9700 troops will attack Lowell Plains where the main Governemnt arsenol is. The rest will strike Boston and kill Hashan

April 12,2752:Start of Lowell Plains siege. The other part of the army hides in the ruined Braintree city hall

April 15-18,2752: Battle of North Boston: Both sides claim victory after both camps get burned down and several more generals on both sides get killed.

April 20,2752:Lowell Plains seige ends:Government forces surrender:6,000 troops get taken prisoner

April 28,2752:NTM's army starts bombing Downtown Boston and the Lowell army merges with his. Rebel forces number 15,000. Remaining governemnt soliders number 16,000(Mostly in Boston).

May 4, 2752:Rebel army leads night attack on East Boston: 2 Hashan's generals killed

May 15,2752:First attack on Boston: Three skyscrapers destroyed, massive enemy fire on Hwy 81A almost kills NTM

May 18,2752:Hashan is killed while commanding troops in East Boston. Remaining troops start retreating toward Warham to evacuate to mainland

May 21,2752:Revolution over; remaining governemnt is corrupt and the economy is badly damaged

September 28,2752:United Cities created. NTM elected first president

October 7,2752:Last of pro-Hashan supporters leave for Republic Of Timbucktu

Today we are going to explore Cantonville. Located on Memorial Island, it started out as a small farming town but today is a major buisennes center. First the overview of it:

A location of town which has numerous shops, reastruants, and other services:

The movie studios, which attracts tourists from every country every year

and the city hall, with old-world architecture:
