If you edited it then you may have added a "structure" that has a missing dependency. Make sure that you have ALL of the dependencies for the lots that you added/changed. Brown boxes mean that there is a missing prop.

Yes we need to know exactly what you changed on the lot. That is where the problem is, so you need to tell us what you did. Otherwise we have no idea what could be wrong.

Did you move any of your plugins since you opened the lot to edit, and when you tried to put it in the game.

A brown box means a model file is missing.

You could go back into the lot editor. Each item on the lot will have an outline around it. If you hold your mouse over each outline it should tell you the name of the item in the status bar. If there is no name in the status bar when you hold your mouse over it, then that is a problem. It means you don't have that item in your plugins, but the lot needs it. If you move the outline around, you will probably notice nothing on your lot moves. The easiest solution is to just delete the problem outlines from your lot and try again.

It would also help if you told us what your first language was. That way if anyone else knows that language they might be able to help you in your own language.

The sc4 tool here: http://kurier.simcityplaza.de/details.php?file=315 should help

in figuring out the dependencies for any lots.

The sc4 tool download is at the bottom of that page most of the page is in german

but the download portion is in english along with the sc4 tool.

You can also use this list: https://www.sc4devotion.com/dependencies.html to help

find the dependencies listed by sc4 tool.

    I hope this helps.

PEG's mod only replaces the box with a small colored "flag" to make the lot easier to see, and maybe determine what's missing. Since boxes usually indicate a missing model file, it wouldn't help the lot appear "normal." That will only be remedied by getting the required dependencies.

So why do I have two of them when I plop down a City Hall? Isn't it a default game model? As a result, it shouldn't require dependencies.

I actually found that fix last night and I installed it but I am still seeing brown packages next to my city halls. I have a bunch of building mods installed but it's not doing it to any of the installed mods for some reason. Just the city halls.
