OK, but watch it.  You need carbohydrates for long term sustainability of our energy levels.  D-i-e-t is a four letter word.  Sure you don't want a slice or two of dry toast to go with that?

 

In the last week I have become insulin dependent.  You don't really want to go there.

I don't eat a lot of bread really. eating fruits and veggies and fish being my only meat source.

So long as you get some carbohydrates.  Your metabolism eventually makes these into ATP to keep your muscles going.  The sugars in fruit are immediate, but starches are long term and needed to keep your levels up.  Veggies will do it if you include root veggies like potatoes, carrots and turnips but be sure you get enough or you will feel tired all the time.  Greens for B vitamins and trace minerals, but the rainbow of roots for starches, more trace minerals and many vitamins.  If you don't get enough sun for Vitamin D, drink lots of milk.  I use 1% because I can't stand skim (blue yechwater).

 

If you are making smoothie, can I ask one?

I eat carrots potatoes pretty much any veggie except corn.

Corn is really a starch, so it doesn't really qualify as a veggie.  Has about the same food values as potatoes. 

 

Perhaps you'd like a serving of our meatless Lasagna?  Lots of cheese and tofu.  Much nutrition in a small package.  Hope you like it.

Wrong conclusion, I'm afraid.  One can't live without sugars, and fructose is a cognate of glucose which is also known as blood sugar.  Glucose is converted into ATP which is what fuels your muscles.  Fructose is usually treated like fibre.  The first thing the metabolism does with sucrose is split it into one molecule each of the lower sugars.

 

Something cold?  How about a nice pitcher of Sangria?

Spring hasn't really sprung until after the golden rain of pollen from the pine trees.  I have no allergies to speak of.

 

Our fries are done in Canola at 350F, no salt except what you may add yourself.  Take it easy with the Sodium, it will raise hell with your blood pressure.

hey that happens to me all the time when invited out for dinner or when i go out to eat - BEGGG the waiter, waitress for no dairy and my dinner always comes back as if i ordered "Would you like dinner to go with that CHEESE?"..   overkill on the dairy   ha.

 

i cant count the number of free meals ive had over the years but was afraid to eat still.  espeically once when they just 'scraped' thecheese off.. Ha!

Thanks M3! I am glad you like it!  i am still working on one or two more slide s with the KK Dragon in it! it should be finshed soon.  I had a pre-intreview yesterday (took an assessment online from a company i applied for... i hope this will be a good week)

Good morning mates!  I'll have one of each of what these guys are having minus the dairy!..  Hi M3. sorry for the followup response i left for you over in the cj.  Romano brought to my attention that  i re quoted your response with no reason showing why...   i tried following up with romano's comment and the same malfunciton occurred agian.  I selected "quote" , i get  a reply box with your message above in a grey background i begin typing in the white area below.... then when i click Post, it says my reply is "empty" and the post button goes away and i see an Add Reply button... Hmmm.

 

Results in this: if i cllick the "AddReply" at this point, it re-postes only the quote... Leave it to Me to glitch it! LOL

Since this is an introduction to fish for you, along with your salad we are serving a poached salmon cutlet with egg sauce and chopped spinach.

 

Roman and simRico both served as desired.

 

You guys with milk allergies, is it some other protein in the milk or simply lactose intolerance?  We can serve lactose free milk or almond milk anytime.

 

Milk allergies must be some kind of genetic lock.  Most allergies are acquired in infancy.  People allergic to milk probably have to be bottle fed special formulas.

thank you Mr. Moose!  My allergy is very odd, it even baffles the doctors over theyars.   when the substance itself touches the insides of my mouth, throat and as it goes down,  every tissue it touches swells and i praticlly suffocate.  was hospitlized at 14 when it was first found out,  i should be "pushing up dasies" by now LOL.  So i have to stay away  - steer cleeeer- and do a double take and run like the wind when i even see something that even "LOOKS" like milk.  yep, had several close calls since then by mistake when i didnt know what i was eating or bit into it when it was too late.  lol   (I asked my mom did i grow up on kool-aid since milk ws so bad for me. I think they gave me som type of oat-formula she said but didnt realize they were right on the spot witht the prob until 14)

 

ms Mary, i am glad it made you smile!  you knoowwww how my weeks have been lol.  I'm glad Romano told me about that post. otherwise id probably not have noticed it for a long time.  It sure didnt look polite to re-quote like that and no supplimiental info to go with it. lol and i am glad you noticed it must have been some type of error.

Ive tried v8 , carrot juice and some other mixture once and it was deelish! It had a salty-sweetness and cant recall what it was
