Labour Day Weekend at the Moose Factory

 

Common Menu - all three days

 

Breakfast:

 

Moose Factory Breakfast Bar with:

 

Hot Oatmeal, maple syrup, butter, and half'n'half

 

Your choice of cold cereal, sweetener, and dampener

 

Crispy waffles (2) with bacon, ham or sausage, maple syrup, and toppings including ice cream, fruit compotes, etc.

 

Belgian waffle with glazed fruit and whipped topping or your favourite ice cream.

 

Breakfast omelet with bacon, ham or sausage, home-fried potatoes or potato salad or poutine, fruit cup.

 

Lunch

 

Chicken noodle soup

 

Mixed meat sub with cuts from the roasts, fresh sliced cucumber, tomato, and field greens

 

Rice pudding with cinnamon sprinkles

 

Dinner

 

Lobster Cocktail

 

Choice of:

 

Roast hip of beef (as you like it)

Glazed ham with pineapple

Roast pork loin, boned and stuffed with our special apple sauce

Deep fried Newfoundland Cod filet

Steamed Lobster with drawn butter

 

Veggies of the day

 

Mashed, Baked (with the fixin's), or French Fried potatoes (gravy available)

 

Strawberry Shortcake or Boston Cream Pie

anyways just very tired and trying to head off sickness... we have been so busy with back to school and the labor day holiday. i come home and crash and sleep as late as i can.

i just got a raise do to the new law passed. that helps....

Our special chicken soup with matzoh ball and orzo with eggies.  About two quarts of it, piping hot over the next couple of days should fix you up.  You could also try some of this gefulte fish with fresh ground horseradish to clear your head.  I always turn to Jewish mama cuisine for that kind of feeling.

Sorry for my abscense lately.  Down to the final 2 weeks.  Have anoth intervew this morning.   My time offline  consumed with crash courses on new applications and tools related to positions applied.  Labor day company holiday meant no follow ups unt9l after businesses back to work.   Sooooo, hoping to get a call from one at least.   Tbey all had aSept start date  and all but two of the positions applied for are still active.   Maybe this is my week!

 

 

Id like a 'power-brakfast' to boost the confidence and can-do spirit  for this morning"s interview.   After next week ! May be in the soop-line
